John D’Angola
Business Guy, Free Diver, Expecting Father
More
John D’Angola taught himself Flash as a kid so he could put his friends in cartoons — because it was funny. At fifteen he was teaching himself the math, theory and psychology of poker. He turned $100 into $100k for the dumbest reason ever: to buy a nice car.
College brought finance first then Mandarin, and eventually a Fulbright scholarship to Taiwan to leverage both. Next Hong Kong, where he built a business out of nothing, standing between American and Chinese companies and making himself useful to both. COVID ended that chapter and he landed in global food manufacturing.
These days he works out of Key Biscayne, running commercial strategy from a laptop most of the day and hunting fish with a Cressi Comanche the rest of it.
Different games, same play: figure out the system, then beat it.
